The newest yacht club in Nova Scotia, Little Tancook Yacht Club.

Founded in 2025 and headquartered in a repurposed bait shack on Little Tancook Island, LTYC sits just a stone’s throw from the government wharf, where the William G. Ernst lands passengers from Big Tancook and Chester.

We offer affordable memberships and club swag to anyone cool enough to wear it.

The clubhouse is currently under a slow and steady construction phase as Riley & Taylor turn an old fish shack into a proper waterfront gathering place. The vision is simple: cold drinks, good food, live bands, and a place worth tying up for.

For visiting boaters, LTYC maintains two 2-ton concrete moorings on the south side of the island.

Getting ashore is another story. At the moment, we ain't got no float or launch to snoodle you in — so you pretty much have to swim.
